Nigerian music video director TG Omori has disclosed that he received a life-saving kidney donation from his brother following a year of kidney issues.

He shared on X that he had endured a failed kidney transplant and had been battling health problems before his brother donated a kidney on August 26.
In his post, Omori wrote:
“Went into this theater 3 times, wasn’t just destined to die today. One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me. Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.”
The director had been notably absent from the public eye, and last month, he shared a poignant image of himself receiving oxygen in the hospital.
He had previously alluded to his health struggles with cryptic tweets, including one where he said, “If I cross your mind, sometimes say a prayer for me. Poor marijuana, they blame you for all my rasclaat. You wanna eat, I wanna live.”
His revelations have led to widespread concern and support from his followers, who have expressed their encouragement and prayers for his recovery.
