The Istanbul Police Department have announced the arrest of 5 suspected Nigerian drug dealers, living in Turkey.
As gathered by GhanaTalksRadio, the Police revealed that their investigation led them to believe that some Nigerians living near Namık Kemal, Esenyurt/İstanbul, Turkey, were dealing in hard drugs and had to swing their arrest into immediate effect.
Following a tip-off, the office of the Esenyurt Regional Police Department tracked the suspects and determined two addresses. In other to deny the suspects any chance of escape, they decided to simultaneously raid the addresses.

As recorded in the video below, they found drugs hidden in different locations of the house, including in shelves, closet, and a suitcase filled with hard drugs weighing 16.5 kilograms was discovered hidden under the bed.
The 5 suspects – 4 men and 1 woman – who were arrested during the raid have been charged to court. The male suspects were jailed while the female suspect was deported.
