Joseph Yamin, a former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, has voiced out on the just-landed coronavirus vaccine. According to him, his life is very precious to him, and as such, would never in any case consider taking the vaccine.
He made this remark following the arrival of the coronavirus vaccine in Ghana. Apparently, he is not the only one who seem to be kicking against the vaccine, he has been joined by other Ghanaians who believe the vaccine is not safe nor trusted, and thus, no right-thinking human being should ever consider taking such.
About 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine made by the Serum Institute of India (Covishield) were received by the Health Minister, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu together with a delegation under the Health Ministry.

Speaking on a Ghana-based media house on Thursday, Joseph claims that the vaccines might have some adverse effects on Ghanaians who take the shots, adding that the assurance by the Food and Drugs Authority is not enough.
The controversial politician said his worries follow the concerns posed by some respected international health experts who say that after taking the vaccine, some individuals have developed some negative side effects.
