Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has expressed confidence that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win 9 of the 12 parliamentary seats in the Bono Region in the upcoming December elections.
During his visit to Sunyani, Dame met with NPP parliamentary candidates and presented motorbikes to support their campaign efforts.
He highlighted the need for unity within the region to secure a decisive victory in the December polls.
“The party is energised, they are motivated to spread to ensure that we break the eight. So, unity is very key.
“The second one is also for us to be bold in terms of propagating all the achievements that we have chalked over the past eight years and then also preach all the messages.
My target is eight and I am very confident that we will get about nine constituencies going in favour of the NPP going into the 2024 general elections,” he stated.
