Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), argues that his party deserves continued support due to significant strides made over the past seven years.

NAPO asserts that the NPP’s achievements have laid a strong foundation for Ghana’s future, and a vote for the party and its presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, will ensure ongoing national transformation.

During a meeting with traditional leaders, Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted the NPP’s accomplishments, reassuring them and their constituents that the party is the best choice for steering Ghana toward further prosperity and development.

He specifically noted that a key achievement of the NPP government has been its success in maintaining a stable and reliable power supply nationwide.

“This government has done a lot. In the last eight years, we have kept the lights on. We have done something.

In the last 8 years, we have brought free secondary education. We have done something.

Nearly 700,000 are in school than when I became the Minister [of Education].

Even if you want a house help or a house aid today, you don’t get it because everybody is going to school.

“It is something in development. To support students in school, we paid the nursing and teacher trainee allowance to our brothers and sisters who go to this institution.

They don’t work for three years and we pay them three months. Even when we also went to IMF, we didn’t do employment freezes.”
