John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly condemned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), calling it the biggest political scam in Ghana’s history since independence.
During the NDC’s manifesto launch at the University of Education, Winneba, Mahama was direct in his critique of the NPP’s governance, accusing the party of misleading Ghanaians with grand promises that have yet to be realized.
“This NPP administration has been the biggest political scam that has been pulled on Ghanaians since our independence in 1957 and I will explain why.
“They repackage with ribbons and sweetly scented with enticing promises.
Most Ghanaians will agree that Nana Akufo-Addo is indeed the president Ghana never got and I dare say that his much-touted economic wizkid, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is also the economic messiah Ghana never got,” he stated.
