President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to equitable development across all regions of Ghana, regardless of their political affiliations.

At the commissioning of Phase III of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital on Friday, President Akufo-Addo emphasized that the government’s goal is to serve every Ghanaian impartially.

He highlighted that the government’s support for the region, despite its historical lack of support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), demonstrates their commitment to national development.

The newly inaugurated phase of the hospital includes key facilities such as a modern mortuary block, doctor accommodation, a relatives’ hostel, a medical gas building, and a comprehensive fence wall.

Additionally, the hospital features a state-of-the-art kitchen, a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), and a laundry facility.

President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence that the upgraded hospital will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in the Upper East Region, addressing the growing needs of its residents.

The project, funded by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), has elevated the hospital to a modern secondary referral facility, poised to offer quality healthcare services to the Upper East Region and beyond.
