The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vehemently denied allegations that its supporters are involved in the ongoing vandalism of state properties, which have been linked to individuals believed to be aligned with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in certain areas.

The NDC had accused some NPP supporters of engaging in acts of vandalism and looting, alleging these actions were fueled by frustration over claims that NPP candidates had hoarded state-procured items, such as food and fertilizers, for voter inducement.

During a press conference on December 9, NPP National Youth Organizer Salam Mustapha called on the Ghana Police Service to take swift action to maintain peace and stability in the country.

Mustapha also condemned the recent attack on the office of Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, describing it as a horrific act.
