Former Ghana international Yaw Preko has been announced as the new head coach of Nsoatreman FC, having signed a two-year deal with the FA Cup champions.

Preko takes over from Maxwell Konadu, who recently joined South Africa’s Black Leopards.
His main goals include leading Nsoatreman through their inaugural African campaign and defending their MTN FA Cup title.
“Nsuatre is a small community but our passion for the game is huge,” declared club chairman Hon Dr. Baffour Awuah at the unveiling ceremony.
“Our people want you to have a winning mentality, winning away and at home. This is what we want from you. I am there to support you. Whenever there is a challenge, let me and my board know.”
Highlighting the club’s ambitions, Awuah added, “We wish you all the best. We want to make an impact in Africa and thank you for accepting to work with us.”
Preko officially inked his contract at a ceremony held in Nsuatre on Monday. The seasoned coach brings with him extensive experience from his time with Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, and Medeama.
In addition to his new role at Nsoatreman, Preko currently serves as the head coach of Ghana’s U-15 national team, adding another dimension to his packed schedule.
Nsoatreman and their fans are eagerly awaiting the impact of Preko’s leadership as they embark on their first African football journey, having secured qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.
