The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced plans to recruit National Service graduates and unemployed youth for a six-month volunteer program.

The initiative comes in response to numerous applications from young people and aims to address youth unemployment in the country.

In a statement issued on Thursday, July 18, the NSS explained that the recruitment will target various sectors, including sanitation, teaching, agriculture, and health, aligning with the government’s efforts to promote environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainable development.

“An online application system will be operational soon on the Scheme’s website to facilitate the selection process. We encourage you to spread awareness about this opportunity among potential candidates in your region/district and provide necessary guidance and support throughout the application process.”
