Nyame Sunsum donates educational materials to Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll foundation

Samuel Osei, Managing Director of Nyame Sunsum, a mining firm in the Ashanti Region, has made a generous donation to the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation.

On Monday, May 27, 2024, Mr. Osei presented 1,000 exercise books, over 500 mathematical sets, and boxes of pens to support the 2024 Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge.

This initiative, launched by the foundation, aims to promote education among students in the country.

The donation, which coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is part of Nyame Sunsum’s vision to support vulnerable communities in accessing quality education and healthcare.

Mr. Osei praised the foundation’s efforts in corporate social responsibility and commended the Asantehene for his vision for the country.

Kwabena Owusu Ababio, Head of Education, Culture, and Heritage at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, expressed gratitude for the donation.

He reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to improving the living standards of vulnerable communities, ensuring equal learning opportunities, and supporting children’s education from pre-school to adolescence.

Mr. Ababio also acknowledged the support of all stakeholders in the foundation’s outreach programs, aimed at providing a platform for good education, health, and sanitation, particularly in rural areas.
