The Office of the Special Prosecutor has released its Half-Year Report for 2024, highlighting significant achievements in combating corruption.

Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng signed the report, which details the successful conclusion of three major cases.

The report reveals that the office collaborated with INTERPOL and central authorities in the UK and US to investigate Airbus SE, a European aerospace corporation, for alleged bribery related to military aircraft sales.

The probe has been finalized, and the Special Prosecutor will issue directives on further action.

Additionally, the report highlights the completion of investigations into suspected corruption at the Ghana Police Academy’s Cadet Officers Training recruitment exercise and the Gaming Commission of Ghana’s procurement contract award to Turfsport Ghana Limited. The Special Prosecutor will provide guidance on next steps for these cases.

The report demonstrates the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s commitment to tackling corruption within key institutions. With these investigations concluded, the OSP is poised to take further action to enhance accountability and transparency.
