Onua foundation’s Sallah feast brings joy to hundreds of Muslim children

The Onua Foundation, a subsidiary of Media General Limited, brought joy to hundreds of Muslim children in Accra with its inaugural Sallah Feast at the National Mosque.

This corporate social responsibility initiative aimed to spread kindness and compassion among the less privileged.

With the support of esteemed donors, including former President John Dramani Mahama, the event offered a festive atmosphere, complete with food, drinks, and entertainment.

Abu Issa Monnie, Director of Onua Foundation, expressed gratitude to volunteers, donors, and participants, emphasizing the importance of compassion and generosity.

The event featured performances by children from the National Mosque and a playground with activities and games.

Mustapha Abubakar, representing former President Mahama, praised Onua brand for their efforts in supporting the less privileged.

Various sponsors, including the Office of the Former President, John Dramani Mahama, and several businesses, contributed to the event’s success.

The children received assorted soft drinks, food, and made merry. Chorographic performances from National Mosque children added to the excitement.
