The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the team has amassed substantial evidence of state assets allegedly looted by appointees of the previous administration.

Ablakwa disclosed that this evidence will soon be submitted to President John Dramani Mahama for necessary action.

President Mahama had earlier tasked Ablakwa, along with Nathan Kofi Boakye, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Daniel Domelevo, to investigate instances of state capture and asset misappropriation and present a comprehensive report.

Addressing journalists in the Eastern Region, Ablakwa expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress, describing their work as a significant step toward accountability and justice. He reassured the public of their unwavering commitment to ensuring those responsible are held to account.

“We will not disclose the nature of our achievements until we have presented our report to His Excellency the President. When we present our report, at that presentation, the Ghanaian people will see the tremendous work that has gone on and the extent of the loot and how all of us collectively have worked successfully to make sure that the evidence is put together, is coordinated to make sure that our attorney general and our institutions help us to recover these loots.”
