Abena Osei-Asare, Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, has resigned from her role as Non-Executive Director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC, effective August 7, 2024.

Her resignation comes after six years of service, including time as chair of the Risk Committee.
Osei-Asare, who was appointed to the ADB PLC Board in August 2018, stepped down due to her recent appointments as a Board Member of the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Stability Council, which prevent her from continuing in her ADB role.
On behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff, Board Chairman Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II expressed gratitude for her contributions to the growth and development of ADB PLC.
Established in 1965, the Agricultural Development Bank PLC is a leading institution in agribusiness financing in the country, with one of the largest branch networks, totaling 87 locations nationwide.
