Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural Black Heritage Network Symposium, hosted by Citibank UK in collaboration with Citi London’s Black Heritage Network and the Asante Professionals Club UK.

Titled “Celebrating Asante Legacy, Excellence, and Partnerships,” the symposium will mark Otumfuo’s silver jubilee anniversary and will be held at Citigroup UK’s Head Office in Canary Wharf, London.

His keynote address, “The Asante Kingdom: Historical Legacy and Its Impact on Modern Economic Development,” will focus on the rich history of the Asante Kingdom and explore how its legacy continues to shape contemporary economic strategies and partnerships.

The event is by invitation only and aims to celebrate the rich heritage and achievements of the Asante Kingdom while fostering discussions on future collaborations and economic growth.

Distinguished guests will include former president of Ghana, His Excellency

John Agyekum Kufuor will join Citi Group Chief Client Officer David Livingstone and other distinguished dignitaries, scholars, and business leaders to honor the Asantehene’s contributions and vision for sustainable development.

Their participation highlights the significance of the Asante Kingdom’s enduring legacy in Ghana’s socio-economic fabric.

The symposium will be held on August 2, 2024, at the Citi Group Centre, Canary Wharf, London, at 2:30 PM London time.
