The paramount chief of the Peki Traditional Area, Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII, has lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for its development initiatives and social intervention programmes, highlighting their positive impact on the nation.

Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII made these comments during a recent visit to his palace by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer.

The chief praised the government’s efforts, specifically recognizing progress in infrastructure development,  education, health, and social welfare.

He noted that these initiatives have significantly benefited various communities, including the Peki Traditional Area.

Speaking to his people, the paramount chief encouraged a pragmatic and open-minded approach to government policies.

He urged his community members to critically evaluate the benefits of each initiative and embrace those that align with their development goals, stressing the importance of making informed decisions for the advancement of their area.

“It is my humble observation that this government has done a lot for the country. As a leader of this community, I always tell my people that Ghana is for all of us. Whoever is the leader of Ghana is leading all of us. So if the government brings policies, let us all look at the policies very well and see which ones benefit us, and then we pick from it.”

Torgbuiga Deiga Kwadzo Dei XII also emphasized the broader need for national unity and collective participation in Ghana’s development, calling for collaboration between the government and citizens to ensure sustained progress across the country.
