Parliament has approved the 2025 Appropriation Bill, granting the government authorization to spend GHC293 billion from the consolidated fund and other public funds for the 2025 financial year.
This bill outlines the government’s total estimated expenditure for 2025, including GHC68 billion for wages and salaries and GHC13 billion for arrears payment.
Speaking on the approval of the 2025 Appropriation Bill, the First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor, said, “Hon. members, the Appropriation 2025 is now read the third time and accordingly passed.”
