The Parliament of Ghana has announced the formation of several crucial committees, including the Assurance Committee chaired by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu.
This committee is tasked with ensuring government commitments to Parliament and the public are upheld, emphasizing accountability and transparency in governance.

Additionally, Parliament has constituted the Ethics and Standards Committee, responsible for overseeing MPs’ conduct and ethical standards, and the Ways and Means Committee, chaired by Asokwa MP, Patricia Appiagyei.
These committees play vital roles in maintaining parliamentary integrity and efficiency.
Further committees established include the Economy and Development Committee and the Backbenchers Committee, each contributing to diverse aspects of legislative oversight and policy formulation.
