Parliament has been adjourned sine die, effective Tuesday, July 30.

During its third meeting of the fourth session, the House approved several key bills, including the Affirmative Action and Gender Equity Bill 2024, the Ghana Shippers Authority Bill 2024, and the National Service Authority Bill 2024.

The session also featured the presentation of the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review by Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Minister for Finance.

However, Speaker Alban Bagbin adjourned Parliament indefinitely after the minority caucus successfully opposed the approval of a substantial loan for the Ghana Energy Sector Recovery Programme in a voice vote.
