Parliament will temporarily move its sessions to the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) while the main chamber of Parliament House undergoes refurbishment.

This relocation will begin when Parliament resumes on September 3, 2024.
Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, announced the venue change in a statement dated August 27, 2024.
Bagbin stated that this decision aligns with Article 112(3) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and the House’s standing orders.
The refurbishment is part of the E-Parliament Project, which aims to digitize parliamentary proceedings, and is estimated to cost €2.26 million. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October.
