The fees for passports and other services under the purview of the Foreign Ministry have been reviewed.
A statement from the Ministry said the changes were approved by Parliament and will take effect from February 1, 2020.
Ordinary applications for passports have been reviewed from GH¢50 to GH¢100 or GH¢150 for the newly introduced 48-page booklet.
Expedited applications have also been reviewed from GH¢100 to GH¢150 for the regular 32-page booklet or GH¢200 for the 48-page booklet.
The fees for the ‘attestation of legal documents’ and travel certificates have also been reviewed.
