As earlier reported, the family of the rap icon, DMX held a vigil outside the New York White Plains Hospital, on the evening of Monday, April 5, 2021, as the rapper continues to battle for his life.
The rapper is said to have been rushed to the hospital on Friday after suffering a heavy heart attack, which was triggered by drug overdose.
Reports say he is “facing serious health issues”, as others say he has “some brain activity.” Due to the heavy attack, he has been tossed into a “vegetative state” and doctors have warned that he may not make it.
During the vigil, the crowd chanted “DMX!” and joined in prayers, as well as crossing their arms in the shape of an X. Many were seen crying while a recording of the rapper was being displayed
