As anticipation mounts for the 2025 edition of the This Is Ghana Exhibition, Elorm Derrick Amoako, Creative Lead at the fashion and lifestyle brand Pinpam, has highlighted the event’s vital role in driving visibility for local businesses and creating powerful networking opportunities.

Speaking on Channel One TV’s Breakfast Daily Weekend on Saturday, August 23, Amoako described the exhibition as more than just a marketplace—it is a space where Ghanaian entrepreneurs can connect with customers, exchange ideas, and position their brands for both local and international success.

“This will be our third time. As a brand, one of the things you can’t trivialise is visibility,” he said. “No matter how well-positioned you are even with a physical shop, you want to come to such fairs to interact directly with customers, both existing and prospective, and to connect with fellow entrepreneurs.”

He further noted that Pinpam’s continued participation is also fueled by the collaborative opportunities the fair fosters. “There may be collaborative strategies between brands. That is why we make it a point to be at the This Is Ghana Exhibition. It’s a great platform to exhibit what we have and also learn from others,” he added.

Amoako stressed that events like this are critical in helping Ghanaian products gain recognition in a competitive market often dominated by foreign brands.

“Ghanaian products are much marginalized when it comes to comparative value. Channel One has given us a great opportunity to showcase our products and services to the general public and change that perception,” he said.

Organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, the This Is Ghana Exhibition 2025 is slated for September 6–7 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra. This year’s edition is projected to be the biggest yet, bringing together small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, research institutions, and homegrown brands from across the country.

The two-day fair, which starts daily at 10 a.m., will showcase a wide range of products and services from traditional crafts and Ghanaian fashion to agribusiness solutions and cutting-edge tech innovations. Visitors will not only get to explore unique locally-made items but also engage directly with the minds behind them.

Industry watchers say the 2025 edition is expected to serve as a catalyst for fresh partnerships, investment opportunities, and greater global recognition of Ghanaian talent and creativity.
