The Ghana Police Service has called on the public, especially motorists, to remain patient amidst ongoing traffic disruptions in parts of Accra.
According to the police, these disruptions are due to a special operation currently taking place, which has impacted the smooth flow of traffic in several areas of the city.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Police Service acknowledged the inconvenience and assured the public that steps are being taken to reduce the disruptions.
“Our officials are working around the clock to facilitate the free movement of persons and vehicles,” the statement said.
