The Ghana Police Service has deployed a psychologist to provide counseling to the wife and children of Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley, a devoted Kotoko Football Club fan.

This announcement was made by the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, during a visit to the deceased’s family in Kumasi. He assured them of a thorough investigation into the incident and a commitment to delivering justice.
Yaw Frimpong tragically passed away after allegedly being stabbed during a match between Kotoko and Nsoatreman Football Club.
The IGP led a team of investigators and high-ranking officers of the Ghana Police Service to console the deceased’s relatives and to assure them of the police’s commitment to investigate and ensure justice in the matter.
