The Ghana Police Service has rejected reports claiming that Malik Basintale, the Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is wanted by the police.
In an official statement, the police firmly denied the allegation, calling it false.
“We wish to categorically state that the claim is false,” the statement said.
The police urged the public to disregard the misinformation and treat it with the appropriate disregard.
They assured that no manhunt has been initiated against Malik Basintale.
