The Police have announced that one of its officers was killed in a robbery incident at Ahodwo, Nhyiaseo in Kumasi early on Thursday, June 27.
They have arrested one person in connection with the robbery, which occurred around 1 am on June 27, 2024.
An intelligence operation is currently underway to apprehend the remaining suspects so they can face justice, according to a statement issued by the Police.
“The Ghana Police Service has arrested one person for robbery which occurred at about 1am on 27th June 2024, at Ahodwo, Nhyiaeso, in the Ashanti Region, resulting in the death of a Police officer.
“An intelligence operation is underway to get the remaining suspects arrested to face justice,” the Police said.
