A known Kenyan musician, Philip Ptaroba Okoyo, popularly known as Japesa, has decided to buy his own coffin while still alive.
The singer took to Instagram on Saturday, 27 March, 2020, to shock his fans with a photo of his coffin in anticipation of his funeral. The rapper revealed that he did not want to stress his fans with the cost of his funeral, so he decided to choose a befitting coffin for his fast-approaching funeral.
“Bought myself a coffin, just in case nikufe msisumbuliwe na till number,” he wrote.
As he proudly posed with his adorable coffin, a faction of his fans reacted to the post with rather disappointing comments, urging him to mind his utterances as words are not to be joked with, while others mocked him and questioned why he ignored expensive coffins to opt for the cheap one.
