The President of Liberia,George weah has awarded a US-Ghanian surgeon Dr Michael Obeng a global excellence award.
Dr Michael obeng a harvard-trained and board certified plastic surgeon has received several awards worldwide including other humanitarian Services. his recent award from the government of Liberia has added to his so many achievements.Dr Michael who received the award in Monrovia on the 18th of August 2023 which happens to be the day of kukatornon Peace ceremony which is very essentialas the nation of Liberia marks its 176th independence day celebration.
The Ghana born and US based surgeon popularly known as the surgeon’s surgeon has done over 2000 free constructive surgeries through their foundation, he has done surgeries for 174 life altering interventions with same been done in Cameroon with 298 surgeries with his team.
He has received several awards and recognition for his Pro Bono medical works within his home country,the United state of America and other countries through his NGO
Dr Michael Obeng became worldwide known after utilising his biocompatible chemicals he made in less than 48 hours to effectively remove gorilla glue from the head of internet sensation Tessica Brown.
