Prof. Opoku-Agyemang kicks off campaign tour in Ashanti region

Today, Monday, October 28, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the vice presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), begins her campaign tour in the Ashanti Region.

Over the next four days, she will visit various constituencies, including Asawase, Afigya Kwabre South, Subin, Manhyia South, Nhyiaeso, and Asante Akim South.

Her itinerary also includes campaigning in Sekyere Afram Plains, Juaben, Ejisu, Obuasi West, and Atwima Kwanwoma.

During her visit, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will address a regional gathering of Muslim women and meet with various professional groups, trade associations, and artisans.

She will engage with the public, including market women and supporters of the NDC.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang plans to emphasize the NDC’s significant accomplishments in the Ashanti Region, such as the state-of-the-art Kejetia Market, newly constructed airport, and healthcare facilities.

Additionally, she will highlight John Dramani Mahama’s dedicated efforts to promote development in the region and the nation as a whole.

She will advocate that a vote for John Dramani Mahama represents a commitment to progress, job creation, and the financial empowerment of women.
