Prophet Kofi Oduro, head pastor of Alabaster International Ministries, issued a stern warning to political leaders, specifically Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former President John Dramani Mahama.

He cautioned religious leaders against endorsing presidential hopefuls in the lead-up to the 2024 general elections, emphasizing the importance of speaking truth to power instead.

Prophet Oduro criticized Vice President Bawumia for continuing to impose COVID-19-related taxes, such as the COVID Levy and E-Levy, even after the pandemic’s peak.

He admonished Bawumia to desist from such practices, warning that God would hold him accountable for the “unfair and unjust” burdens imposed on Ghanaians.

Turning his attention to former President Mahama, Prophet Oduro condemned the alleged mismanagement and corruption that occurred during his tenure, specifically mentioning the controversial Brazilian dollar saga.

He warned Mahama that God would judge him and those who “chopped money” during his presidency.

Prophet Oduro’s message emphasized the need for religious leaders to hold politicians accountable for their actions, rather than endorsing them for personal gain.

He urged his fellow pastors to speak the truth to those in power, ensuring that justice and righteousness prevail in the nation.
