Kylian Mbappe was formally presented as a Real Madrid player in Madrid on Tuesday.
The French striker, who underwent a medical earlier that morning, signed a five-year contract and received the No. 9 shirt from club president Florentino Perez.

Addressing thousands of fans gathered at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Mbappe exclaimed in Spanish, “Wow.”
“I see my mom in tears… it’s an incredible day for me. Let me say thanks to Florentino Pérez”.
“My dream came true today”.
“I’m happy, I’m really happy”.
“It feels incredible to be here. I’ve slept many years dreaming of Real Madrid and now… it’s reality”.

“This is the biggest club in the world. I want to win, I want to be part of the history of this club”.
“For years I’ve dreamed of playing for Real Madrid and today my dream has come true,” said the 25-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain player.
“I’m a happy boy. I’m going to give my life for this club,” he added.

Despite his new teammates starting training on Monday, Kylian Mbappe, who captained France during the Euros, will have a few more days off before beginning his season in the Spanish capital.
