Reggae artiste Blakk Rasta has criticized Archbishop Salifu Amoako for boasting about driving without a license or number plate and claiming immunity from police arrest in a resurfaced viral video.
The video has sparked outrage amidst allegations that Amoako’s 16-year-old son was involved in a fatal accident, resulting in two deaths and three severe injuries.
Blakk Rasta questioned Amoako’s education and wisdom, stating, “Salifu Amoako doesn’t have any education… I expected a man of God to have natural wisdom.
“He condemned Amoako’s notion of being “above the law,” saying, “If you claim no policeman can stop you from breaking the law, it doesn’t make you Superman; it means you live in a lawless country.
“Blakk Rasta also criticized certain religious leaders’ teachings that wealth can be achieved solely through prayer, without hard work.
The accident occurred on October 12, 2024, involving Amoako’s son driving a Jaguar SUV without a license, which collided with an Acura vehicle.
The Ghana Police confirmed the incident and Amoako’s subsequent arrest, along with his ex-wife, for their alleged role in the accident.
Blakk Rasta’s comments emphasize the need for accountability and responsible leadership.~
