Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians to reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, accusing it of worsening the country’s economic difficulties.

During a courtesy visit to the Regent of Wungu, Sulemana Saka Adams, in Walewale, North East Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang urged citizens to back NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama in the December 7 elections.
She stressed that voting for Mahama and the NDC would pave the way for a “reset” of the nation and improve the lives of all Ghanaians.
“I doubt if any of our predecessors would have thought that the most important thing to do at this time is to go and unveil a statue to themselves.
“I want to end here by thanking you and your elders for accepting us. And again, to appeal that we all come together and vote and bring in a government that is not an angel but we know he will do the best for his people and leave a good legacy.”
The NDC’s running mate is expected to continue day two of her tour of the North East Region.
