Ghanaian high jumper Rose Yeboah finished her first Olympic Games at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a strong performance but did not make it to the final.

She cleared 1.88 meters on her third try but couldn’t get over 1.92 meters on her third attempt, which kept her from reaching the final.

Back in Ghana, her old school, Kumasi Girls, came together to support and cheer for her.

Her participation in the Olympics made both the school and the country proud.

Although Yeboah didn’t make it to the final and won’t be among the top 12, her first Olympic appearance is a big achievement. At 22, she is the first Ghanaian woman to compete in the Olympic high jump.

The experience she gained from competing on such a big stage is very valuable, and her success shows her talent and hard work. People are excited to see her future performances.

Even though Rose Yeboah’s Olympic journey ended earlier than she hoped, her historic participation in Paris 2024 sets her up for future success and inspires many young athletes in Ghana.
