A devastating fire at Saboba EP Senior High School in the Northern Region has left the girls’ dormitory block completely destroyed, claiming the life of one student and reducing numerous belongings to ashes.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon, has halted school activities, with students now relocated to classrooms.

The headmaster has urgently appealed for support to help the affected students, many of whom have lost everything in the blaze.

“The students all over are so much traumatised. After the incident, some of them couldn’t take it and thus fell unconscious. We had to rush some of them to the hospital in town to be revived again.
