Deputy Minister for the Interior, Naana Eyiah, has underscored the vital role of cybersecurity in safeguarding national security and the economy.
She noted that compromised security can lead to severe consequences, such as data breaches and service disruptions.
Madam Eyiah made this statement during the handing-over ceremony of cybersecurity and office furniture equipment from the Danish Government to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) at their headquarters in Accra.
She also expressed her gratitude to the Danish Government for their support.
