Emmanuel Andrews Sammini the prominent Reggae and dance hall artist has stated he is not a member of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a recent interview.

Sammini, popularly known by his stage name Samini, is a Ghanaian reggae and dancehall recording Artiste from WA.

The reggae artist claims to only have supported President Nana Addo Dankwa and New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 general elections for some reasons and have now debunked the claims of him being a member of NPP

Samini in the recent interview with a news media spoke on the reason for his support to NPP, he noted that he loved some of the policies of the president. Policies like the ‘Free SHS, ‘One District, One Factory’, ‘One Village, One Dam’ made him pitch tent with the NPP in the last elections.

“I am not a card bearing member of the NPP, I’m an admirer of Nana Akufo-Addo’s policies. That is what drew me to loud his policies and the fact that it will only make sense for him to continue from where he has started rather than swap him,” he said.

Prior to his interview,, many linked the Artiste to the NPP as he was seen on the political party’s stages performing before the politicians spoke. He even went a step further by composing a song for the then Presidential flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
