Popular Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Switch has captivated social media users after a viral video of her singing ‘Jejereje’ in French emerged online.
In a TikTok video, DJ Switch shared with her fans that Stonebwoy’s new hit ‘Jejereje’ reminded her of a French song.
The 2017 winner of TV3’s Talented Kids then performed her own rendition, translating the Twi lyrics into French.
“This song low-key sounds like a Francophone tune to me, so I thought, why not sing it in French? It e dey be, edey be. If it no dey be, it no dey be; it’s just an attempt,” she remarked.
Her performance garnered positive reactions from her TikTok followers, who took to the comments to praise her effort.
