Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament-elect for Ketu North, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to halt the blame game and instead conduct a thorough assessment of their electoral defeat.

Agbana’s remarks follow the NPP’s struggle to address significant losses in the recent elections. He noted that voter apathy was a challenge faced not only by the NPP but also by other political parties, including the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking on Citi FM’s Point Blank segment of Eyewitness News on Friday, Agbana stressed the importance of the NPP returning to the drawing board to critically evaluate the factors behind their poor performance.
“I think that if I have any advice to give my friends in the NPP, they need to get back to the drawing board and do some deep assessment of what happened, what caused their defeat rather than being on the fence and still engaging in blame game and blaming apathy and all of that because the apathy did not affect only the NPP, it affected all of us,” Agbana stated.
