The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in the party’s prospects for victory in the 2024 elections, attributing this optimism to the positive impact of government policies on Ghanaians.

Addressing a large crowd of traders at Okaishie Market on Tuesday, October 29, Dr. Bawumia highlighted several initiatives introduced by the administration to support local businesses amid economic challenges.
He pointed to policies aimed at improving credit access, lowering import tariffs on essential goods, and enhancing market infrastructure as measures that have directly benefited traders.
“What I see from all the places I’ve visited indicates that, Insha Allah, the NPP will win the December 7, 2024 election. We will win because of our achievements. Before taking office, we promised a free senior high school policy.
At that time, the then-president said we were deceiving Ghanaians, but I believed it was possible. If I become president, I will continue prioritizing traders; Bawumia means business,” he asserted.
Dr. Bawumia also urged the traders to participate actively in the electoral process, encouraging them to mobilize their communities to support the party that has prioritized their welfare.
Reaffirming the NPP’s commitment to fostering economic growth and stability for all Ghanaians, he concluded with a call for unity and optimism among party supporters, stating, “Together, we will secure a better Ghana for ourselves and future generations.”
