Students of Kinbu Senior High Technical School are being subjected to a search by school authorities before entering the school premises.
This comes after one of the students, Addib Alhassan, was allegedly stabbed and killed by a fellow student at the Kinbu Technical Senior High School on July 31 in a dispute.
The search being conducted aims to retrieve unauthorised items, such as knives and mobile phones, from the students.
Students in unprescribed dresses and bushy hair have also been denied entry into the school.
The Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, in a statement on August 1, strongly condemned the fatal stabbing of the student, describing the incident as both tragic and senseless.
Addib Alhassan, a 15-year-old first-year student, was fatally stabbed on July 31 during an altercation reportedly sparked by a heated argument with a classmate.
