The Supreme Court has granted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) permission to serve substituted service on NPP candidates in Techiman South, Ablekuma North, Okaikoi Central, and Tema Central.

This comes after repeated failed attempts to serve them personally with a certiorari application challenging High Court orders for collation completion in these constituencies.
The court’s decision allows the NDC to serve the candidates through alternative means, including posting the application on the Supreme Court’s notice board.
The NPP candidates who are now MPs for Tema Central, Okaikoi North and Techiman South are to be served through the the legal department of parliament.
NPP parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North Nana Akua Afriyie is to be served by posting the documents at NPP’s office at Odorkor.
Other media for service include posting it at a house in Tema belonging to Charles Forson and through the WhatsApp numbers of Charles Forson, Nana Akua Afriyie and Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.
According to the court directive, the notice is to be posted for 14 days.
