The Ghana Police Service has detained Yaw Koranteng in Nsawam, Eastern Region, for possessing a device believed to belong to the Electoral Commission (EC).
The suspect is currently in police custody and assisting with the investigation.
The Police have notified the EC about the arrest and have asked them to confirm if the device is theirs.
In a brief statement, the Police expressed their gratitude to all stakeholders for their ongoing support in maintaining security and order during the election period and beyond.
