The Member of Parliament of South Dayi Constituency, Hon. Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has berated the cost of tertiary education in the country.

Whiles speaking in a media interview, the NDC stated that the situation has created a huge burden on the purse of members of Parliament, who are usually engaged by their constituents to help pay the fees of their wards.
‘’I think I am the MP who pays the most for scholarships, so far I have spent over 500, 000 Ghana cedis on supporting students paying part of their school fees’’, he noted.
He narrates that this eats a lot into his and the common fund of other MPs, thereby limiting them in contributing to development projects in their constituents.
