The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has intensified its COVID-19 vaccination campaign with the launch of a new national vaccination exercise.
This five-day initiative, running from July 3 to July 7, aims to administer approximately half a million doses of the vaccine across various regions of the country.

Dr. Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, confirmed to TV3 that while COVID-19 vaccinations are routinely available at all health centers, there is a need for periodic intensification of the campaign.
He emphasized that the country continues to record COVID-19 cases, underscoring the importance for all eligible individuals to take advantage of this exercise.
Only Johnson & Johnson vaccines are being administered during this drive.
