During the speech and prize-giving day at Wesley Girl’s Senior High School, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, unveiled the government’s initiative to provide over 1.4 million tablets to senior high school students as part of the free SHS policy.
The objective behind this endeavor is to enrich the teaching and learning experience across public senior high schools nationwide.

Dr. Adutwum underscored the government’s dedication to furnishing each student with a tablet computer within the next two months.
Additionally, he disclosed plans for implementing a learning management system and training teachers to facilitate online engagement in homework and class activities.
Emphasizing the significance of cultivating a technology-driven atmosphere, the minister remarked, “If you have support, it should involve acquiring more smart boards to create a 360-degree smart, technology-driven environment.”
The distribution of tablets is anticipated to foster a more sophisticated and interactive educational environment for senior high school students.
