The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially asked for the list of security personnel assigned to special duties during the upcoming Voter Transfer exercise.
The exercise will take place from July 3rd to July 5th, 2024.
In a letter to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, the party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, emphasized their commitment to transparency and maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
Kwetey highlighted the importance of knowing which security personnel will be involved, stating it is crucial for smooth elections.
Access to this information will help the NDC prepare and work with authorities to ensure a secure electoral process.
He assured the Chairperson that the party will handle the sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and use it solely to promote transparency and fairness in the elections.
