Former President, John Dramani Mahama has described the NPP administration as reckless and contemptuous to the people of Ghana.
Speaking at NDC Europe Conference 2023, the flag bearer of the NDC stated that whiles the NDC cannot claim perfection, it ”can never be like the NPP” who he classifies as been ”wasteful, ostentatious, and imprudent”.
“It has been seven years of corruption, seven years of waste, seven years of arrogance, seven years of impunity, seven years of nepotism, seven years of abuse of office, seven years of human rights violation, and worst of all seven years of economic mismanagement.
“Seven years of reckless mismanagement of the economy has rendered our people broken and struggling from one day to the other just to survive,” he added.
Mr. Mahama is set to lead the opposition National Democratic Congress in the 2024 General elections as he seeks to return to power, after having been elected as the party’s foreman in a recent congress by the NDC.
